Whatever You Do, Don’t Look Down From This Terrifying Glass Skywalk
A new glass walkway opened to the public in China. The terrifying walkway spans 100 meters along the side of Tianmen Mountain in Hunan's Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Situated off the side of China’s Tianmen Mountain, the 1.6-meter-wide skywalk is situated high above Hunan’s Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Dubbed the “Coiling Dragon Cliff” skywalk, the clear glass walkway overlooks a sheer drop that would turn any stomach.
Brave visitors have dared to walk on the glass pathway, looking down at the scenes below from 4,600 feet in the air. Tourists cling to the rails not looking down while others take in the sights and pose for extreme selfies. Though the experience can be frightening for many visitors, the views are certainly spectacular.
