So close so far!
This fantastic picture is from a landscape in Badghis province of Afghanistan. As a geologist it sounds like a paradise in the country for me! But access to the area is a big problem due to the security issues. I hope one day every geologist can enjoy Afghanistan's unique geological beauties without any security concern.
